Maybe My Eyeballs Are Not Big Enough?

I am drawing in Clip Art Studio because I am too lazy to draft on paper and then scan into my computer. That also means I do not have a true feeling for the line weight or the relative size compared to the total dimensions of the file. It isn't something one can intuitively learn because drawing in Studio exclusively makes your mind biased against your perceptions of the piece. Only when there is a jarring in that perception will the bias stand out for you. (If that makes any sense.) I will not try to clarify this because I have no concrete evidence and video capture on my current rig is awful.

May I will take up a pencil and paper, draw a decent sketch, and then scan it. At least then I can break out of the bias and utilize Clip Art Studio properly.
